So Last week, Paper People and Josh Coates ran a Scratch nigh in The Lord Ashton Pub, Lancaster. We very imaginatively called it… Scratch at the Ashton. I wanted to call it Lord Scratchton, but that was vetoed. Cheers Josh. There will be photos that I can show you at some point, but not now.
Anyway, we had an assortment of wonderful companies who did varying things all to exceptional levels, it was a great scratch night, I want to thank all those who came and shared work and all those who came and watched work. I’m not going to go into it too much because if you weren’t there; a) it wont make too much sense and b) if you didn’t come, you don’t deserve to know, it’s our thing, not yours.
One thing I will share is a photo of some feedback left by an audience member for Michael Dodds, a singing comedian who is very funny.
So think about that Dodds, take it on board and make yourself blue, like a Smurf, but cooler.
So onto the Clitheroe bit. I’m in Clitheroe.
Yes, Clitheroe, Working with a company called Ribcaged on their upcoming production of Macbeth. I’m Macduff. I got here last night and have thus far met all of the cast except for the woman playing my wife, that’s ok though, they never meet in the show either. It’s a difficult marriage.
The show is being performed as a matinee on Saturday the 15th and in the evening on Tuesday the 18th. If you can come along, do. If you can’t, you’re dead to me. If I dont know you and you’re reading this, first of all thanks for reading my lil ol’ blog, secondly, if you can’t make it, dont worry yourself, you’ve done enough already.
